I had severe hairloss for 2 years I didn't knew what was causing it then 3 months back I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism I am on 50mcg my hairfall has stopped but my hair has become very thin plz tell me whether regrowth of hair is possible?will I regain my hair .Will my hair start to grow again?.my vit d is 22 I am taking 1000iu daily.will I grow my hair back

Hi, I noticed a brown/light black line on my 8 year old child's Middle Toe. Its only on one nail. I checked online and result is scary. Her digestive system is not so well these days too. Has loose stools once a day with occassional pain while going. She has no milk,includes 3 or 4 fruits, veggies daily. Also has vit d, c supplements.  Not sure if these are related...Her pediatrician said tummy is fine. What could it be? For the nail thing, Shall I see her pediatrician or a child dermatologist?

Can finasteride upregulate androgen receptor in scalp ? I have read that in long term finasteride csn increase hairloss as the androgen receptor in scalp will increase due to finasteride. Is this a phenomenon anyone has heard about? Is this true?
