I've been very actively playing basketball for last 10 years. I joined a gym a few months back and started having hives after most workouts. My local physician gave me a preliminary diagnosis of exercise induced uritcaria. But I doubt that to be the case for two reasons: 1. As stated, have always been very active physically and never faced such an issue. 2. Hives occur even after 24-48h of workout sessions. Sometimes they run over to next day. How can it be diagnosed correctly? Is there a test? Permanent treatment? Thanks

It's been a week I had tinea cruris and fungal infection on my buttocks , the itching is not there anymore , only the marks have left of both , tinea and fungal infection , should I now shave the area? Is it safe? Or will it increase the itching again. I need to get rid of the hairs , when is the right time to shave and after how many days

I have been infected with tinea in groin in 2012. The dermatologist had prescribed me fluconazole tablets and ketoconazole cream. Subsequently started using a dusting powder. The rash remained and no itching or other symptom. Somewhere in 2017, the candid dusting powder started irritating the skin. So I switched to a herbal dusting powder a d it worked much better. In 2019, I realised that the rash is the fungal infection itself and visited a doctor in November.He prescribed generic itraconazole and luliconazole,I used 100mg twice per day for two months.There was no change in rash, itching was anyways not there. After 2 months, 2020 March, I visited another dermatologist with same prescription but with Sun Pharma medicines, the rash lightened. I started using dusting powder. Now the rash is growing darker, and there is severe itching, I can see the reddishness spreading. Does anybody have success in treating very stubborn infection like this? I have not used any steroid cream till now.
