Hi, I took 3 pennicillin shots 4 years ago for my syphilis infection. After that I got test and I came negative. Yesterday in another complete blood test, my syphilis came reactive, so I took RPR and TPHA test, for which RPR came negative and TPHA came 1:160. Now I am confused. I have been having symptoms like tinnitus and mild headache recently. I am afraid if this is Neurosyphilis. Does neurosyphilis shows negative for RPR and have low TPHA value? Do I still have syphilis?other STIs came negative. Please advice.
