Recently Answered Questions on wet cough syrup

My cough is not reducing from last 2-3 weeks, and some time I see blood spotting in cough, I am worried about this situation. I have started antibiotics from last 2 days. Do you see any concern. Are there any chances of TB?

I am on treatment of chicken pox since yesterday. I am taking acyclovir 400mg five times a day along with paracetamol 650 mg one time a day. My cough and high fever are not subsiding. Severe cough is causing me chest pain.

Whenever i have a flu/cold, i take medication. Then starts the cough which lasts for weeks. I take medication and i get well. Then immediately after stopping medication, i again get the flu... The frequent coughs I'm having is very irritating my throat.

Hi, I have cough for almost more than 3 weeks now.I get a itchy feeling in my throat.I consulated a doctor and I was told I have infection.I completed the antibiotic course given by the doctor. At the end of it cough seemed to have disappeared. But again it started in 2 days.

I am suffering from cold from several days. Also have cough which gives me headaches. Have tried warm water and dosage of antibiotics. Throat infection is not going away. Irritation in throat doesnt allow me to sleep at night. I end up coughing whole night.

My dad is a heart patient . He has undergone angioplasty a year back. From a week he has fever. On medication he feels better but as soon as the tabs power go goes he again feels feverish. Now his cough is not reducing. Continuous cough . please advice.

Hi..iam getting chest pain and cough since 10days i already Done Ct Scan ,2d echo And ecg all reports are normal but small gastric problem  i didn't get relief from pain and cough ,pls give me suggestion 

Hello doctor, Good morning! My husband affected with covid with lung involvement on May 2021. He was hospitalized 1 month with o2 support and got cured. Everything was normal for one year.  For past 9 months he is getting cold frequently like 2 to 3 months once. Last December he got cold and cough. Cough was there a month. Now again (2 weeks ago) he affected with cold and cough. Cold got cured but cough is there. He coughs 5 to 6 throughout the day. His o2 is 97 or 98. Why he is getting repeated cold and cough? Is this any related to post covid?  Does any need test needed?

My father had severe cold and cough with fever a few days ago. On the suggestion of a doctor, started with Azithromycin 500 for 5 days. On the last day of Antibiotics, he coughed up fresh blood twice from phelgm. Doctor suggested Chest Xray PA view, which showed mildly prominent bronchovascular markings and horizontal fissure noted, which is suggestive of b/l Bronchitis (Not sure whether Acute or Chronic). All the symptoms have more or less resolved now. My question is that he is having a constant cough. This cough is mostly present when he starts talking sometimes dry and sometimes with phelgm (a few days ago the phelgm colour was yellow, now white). This coughing doesn't seem to stop. Is this cough normal after bronchitis? How long will this last?
