Recently Answered Questions on wet cough syrup

Hello doctor, My 1 y.o. daughter is suffering from chronic cough and cold. She has runny nose and phlegmy coughing. She is coughing profusely and vomiting also. The vomit is also phlegmy. She is unable to sleep or eat. She is constantly thirsty. I gave her steam inhalation to loosen the phlegm. She is cranky and exhausted. Please advise. Kindly consider this an emergency.

Fever and cough... We have given her P 250 regularly from past 2~3 days but the fever increases in night again.. Also for cough we have given Ascoril LS along with levolin with nebulizer.. The cough has decreased for some extent.. But still we are facing the issues. She always looks dull, sleepy.

I am suffering from cough & cold for 2 weeks. I can feel some congestion in my chest due to cough while I have to cough. I feel very weak. Suddenly for 2-3 days I have started feeling feverish too. I am having throat pain, body pain & severe sneezing too. I have nose block & headache. I have allergic rhinitis. What should I do get relief?

I’ve had a cough for a couple years now, it’s not a painful cough I don’t feel pain in chest or throat. It’s worse when I lay down. I sometimes cough up phlegm but not always, there’s no blood either. I am a smoker and have been for a couple years, average a 20 pack of cigarettes over a 3-4 days so not a big smoker.

I had throat infection 2-3 days back and due to which i got fever . I had sensation of cough stuck in my throat from past 2-3 days and today while having bath it came out and it had blood mixed with it . It is for first time that blood came and before whenver i removed cough it was normal .and now also my cough is normal. Is it dangerous????

I have been coughing a lot. I've recently quit smoking. I had chest congestions,shortness of breath . I consulted a physician,my xray and blood count are normal. Congestion and shortness of breath is fine for now. The thing that still worries me is that I get black hairs of all sizes every 3rd day in my cough, and the cough is black in color sometimes.
