Recently Answered Questions on wet cough syrup

Hello Dr. My daughter having cough problem since last 1 week, she is 5 yrs old, her weight is about 20 kg. She heavily coughs continue approx for 20 min every night around 2 o'clock. Please suggest what should I do. Please suggest any medication. Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks Regards

My mom is a cardiac patient (having diabetes too) . She is currently having cough since yesterday. Cough is not quite frequent though, thrice a day or so. But when it starts, it persists for around 30 seconds or so. There is no sputum with it. And no other symptoms of covid e.g. fever, weakness or flu-like feeling, shortness of breath etc. Should she Immediately go for covid test? Please suggest.

My son age 2 years , from last few days he haa cold and coughung , he was given chericough ls for 5days , though it was not feeling bater , and was fever one or 2 times , doc give azithral , and mecberry syrap , after taking 3days its not changing the condition , coughing is till too much , cant eat anything, vomiting for coughing too much, breathing hard   , what to do now??

My 5 year old sun facing 4-5 times coughing in a day and we are giving them Respicure D 5 ml twice with Immunocin 5ml twice since 10 days but still coughing 4 to 5 times in a days , so please advise what could be the reason?

My mother aged 44 is suffering from coughing from over a month... Tried having medicine.... Had relief for few days... Now mom is OK... But sometimes have coughing at night... Hi doctor, i have been having bouts of ache cough (duration1-3min) which leaves a weird taste in my throat and an itch on my neck (throat area). This happens 2 -4 times in a week. Also in the morning i cough up mucus (transperent color) daily basis n even during the day i can feel that in my lungs. What do i do about this?

Actually I have cough problem from few days, I went to hospital they took x-ray and they said there is a infection. They had given tablets augmentin duo 625 and montec - LC and they also gave injection in hand. They told me to take tablet for 5days. But still I'm having little congestion to breath. Still coughing.

I m having cough dry cough as no mucus comes out but I do hear like a kind of sound in my chest while breathing .. morning time I cough continuously and after 2-3 hr it calm down ... It's been almost.4 5.months . I have taken many syrups they give temporary relief but not long effect .. I stay in Bangalore weather here is unpredictable . In between cough was completely gone but in April again it started after I caught cold . I took mucolite tab I have taken antibiotic also but I don't hv pain or fever . Now taking ayurvedic medicines . Could it be some allergy what should I avoid eating while cough . Like fruits normally I eat watermelon muskmelon mango papaya guvava

My daughter is 3.5 year old. She weighs 12 kg. On July 2nd she affected with fever cough and cold .doctor did some tests all are fyn..gave clorithomycin syrup 125mg 5ml twice a day for 7days and ofloxacin 100mg 5ml twice a day for 7 days coscopin 3ml for 7 days and levotaz 3ml for seven days...fever relieved after 1week cough reduced but not completely gone...again on july 13 she affected with fever and cough cold doctor told to use the same medicine for 7 more days. Fever relieved next day cough is better but after 5 days cough is more followed by fever,cold, vomiting loose motions, after 2 days...i am not understanding why she is affecting with fever again and again she never had this before...

2 months ago, i had cold,followed by cough (khaasi) ,then i went to clinic and took medicine but after that cough was still present in chest, a weird sound began to occur from chest.Then i went again 2 weeks ago to the doctor, he said that its the infection and it'll get cured after taking syrup and some pills.at present, it has not cured and cough/mucous is still in chest.after a meal/lunch/dinner, white cough started to occur in chest and i have to throw out regularly just after i finished eating.Also when i play football, after a hour, cough occurs and i feel fatigued.What is this condition?How can this situation finished?I want to live a healthy life😭.
