Recently Answered Questions on wet cough syrup

My son initially had dry continuous cough at night, now it's cough is in the morning. He was on the following medications: histafree and levolin then benadryl now on augmentin 375 ,3 times and cough syrup. Now he is very tired and is feeling feverish but till now there was no fever. He has now developed sneezing and running nose Please advice if we need to consult any pulmonologist or any tests needs to be taken

My 9 year old son suffering from cough. No other symptoms .cough is like deep sound from chest with little mucus. Cough stops when taken medicine but it again reoccurs if medicine not taken. Dr prescribed Nukast 4 syrup for 45 days . Is it safe to take this medicine for so long  and how to determine the cause of allergy if he has?? Pl advise thankyou

It started with a fever and ear pain. The fever went away but the dry cough started. For fever and ear pain..i took zerodol sp and dolo. I also combined it with montair lc at night. Since yesterday dry cough creating a lot of issues. I am continuosly coughing which is making breathing difficult. I have done gargle as well as i am taking Cufrio dx syrup but still i didnt get any relief. I have severe pain in my throat right now.

My daughter is 11 months old. We have seen doctors multiple time for the same issue. She has runny nose and she coughs a lot specially during night. We give cough syrup and all generic meds prescribed by doctors but nothing helped her getting rid of the problem. It has been a week already, she has shown some impressive bur runny nose and cough doesn't go away. Please suggest

Last Friday I got fever which come back again in every 4-5 hrs till Sunday afternoon range 101n. After that I have cough now, no running nose mild fever 99.7 F. Took Azithromicine 500 for 3 days  and stopped, levocitrizin daily since 5 days and benadryl cough syrup but still having heavy cough, body pain and mild fever.

My father , already vaccinated , not having covid . he Is having problems with his throat since like 2-3 years . He is coughing almost every morning and evening . He feels itchy in his troat, with normal medications like antibiotics and cough syrup he starts getting well after stopping medications he cough again . Now a days he is feeling lil cheast pressure and mood swings . He was a smoker , Left in 2017 . But he still consume tobacco . I want to know what should be further steps . I have mild cough with throat itching...doctor has prescribed me some antibiotic for bacterial infection cortimax...mucus clearing medicine..but it was not healed..then i have changed my doctor he suggest me to take antithistamine onlevo...antibiotic..i took dextromorphon cough syrup..I have done blood test of cbc as prescribed by my doctor..that report was ok...but after compliting my medicine still my itching has not gone there is some mild itching sensation and cough..what should i do...just like this guy..who described it well...same symptom

I have continuous slight cough and suspecting COVID got tested but the result is negative. Have taken a course of Montek LC, Azithromycin, Pan DSR, Mucenac for 3 days as prescribed by a known medical practitioner. Since no good results, consulted another doctor who prescribed Enzomac, Montek LC, Grillinctus Syrup for 5 days. It's around 3 days and the cough is not reduced instead raising causing discomfort. Please help me to identify and cure my cough.

Hi, Problem started from 22 May with throat pain(sometimes in left side and sometimes in right side). it got reduced after few days. 4 days before throat pain started and reduced after 2 days with hot water with salt gargle after that mild dry cough started. it is not continuous. in 2/3 hours, once coughing (khassi) today. I had no fever or breathing problem till now. So, not sure whether i should take dry cough syrup. Kindly suggest me.

My son 10 months old is on treatment for chest congestion n cough, on levolin syrup 2ml thrice a day. He's been treated for the past 4 days...but the cough is still present rarely he runs a low grade fever. My doc told to continue for 2 more days..but I'm not able to see my baby suffer. He's able to play and ear when there is no cough.only during his sleep he's having cough and because of this hes not getting proper sleep.
