Recently Answered Questions on wet cough syrup

15-16 days ago, I got a sore throat, I wasn't sure if it was the cold or allergies but I felt briefly fatigued for a few days and then felt ok - except that the post nasal drip (clear), congestion and productive cough have all continued - nothing else no headache, no fever, no pain. I was taking Nasacort, then I switched to Muscinex, but nothing seems to help. It doesn't get any worse, but doesn't seem to be getting a lot better. exercise seems to aggravate it. Can congestion last three weeks?

My son is 6.8yrs, from past 1week he is not so well.now almost fine however after giving paracetamol suspension n antibiotic cefpodoxine. Still he is not fully cured.he is having little bit of cough n 99temperature..however last Monday he was having full high temp almost 105..from yesterday we stop giving antibiotic n Paracetamol but why he is still not so well..it will be fine or shall we need some more medication.please give us advice.

Shrejal (3.5 years) - weight 11.2 kg - Started cough on 16th (Saturday) She is having thick running nose and fever from Saturday night. Fever comes in head and then spreads across body every 4-6 hours. Giving Levolin give 2.5 ml three times a day and Syp Montair LC kid and crocin when fever comes. Not much improvement yet.

My 4 year old baby has running nose and little cough from 3 days. I was giving montair LC(morning and night) along with foracot and ashthalin. He got fever 100 on the 3rd day evening, after that I gave sinarest and his running is much better now and fever is also down. Can I continue sinarest with foracot and ashthalin? If yes, for long I need to give this? Please suggest.

I was having a continuous dry cough & Fever .consulted a doctor he told a take a ct scan and informed you have tonsil.Ct scan revealed 1.deviated nasal septum to left with bony Nasal spur ,impinging on left inferior turbinate and left sided turbinate hypertrophy 2.Diffuse rhinosinusitis.can any one explain what this.please

It's been 3 weeks. Started like itchy skin rashes. Took homeo medicine for 4 days. Started coughing and shortness of breath. Intially doctor said that it is allergy from food. Consulted another allopathy doctor. Chest xray taken. Chest CT and Xray show abnormality. AFB sputum negative.

How safe is it to nebualise a child. My son is 3.8 yrs old. after every 2-3 mths he catches cold and cough(wheezing).His dr gave different meds like (tixylix aerodyne azithral ) & nebs with salbair I and flohale. He recovers after all this medication. Can i nebualise him in the starting itself , instead of givin meds. has histry of febrile seizure

Hi, I am a breastfeeding mom of a 3 month old baby girl. I have recently developed cold, cough & mild fever (99.9). Please suggest what all medicines can I opt for. I have been advised to take Allegra 180mg once a day. Please suggest any add ons for faster recovery. Will it harm my baby if I breastfeed her during fever? What all precautions can I take to save her from catching the infection though she already has cold and is taking the medicine as advised by her doctor. TIA

Since yesterday suffering from fever.Yesterday it was 102 in the afternoon then fell down to 100 in evening.Again at 9 pm fever was 101.8. Also was feeling heaviness in the head,legs were also paining. Today morning100.5 fever,now fever in control but having cold and cough now with headache. I had a cough and cold from 7 days. I took paracetamol for 4 days. still, have running nose and now I m having throat pain while swallowing food. I m having lymph node swelling near trachea at the lower end close to clavicle. I didn't take the antibiotic as I was getting green sputum as it was suspected viral infection.
