Recently Answered Questions on wet cough syrup

Hello., I have donated blood on the 10th of this month, until then I was active, regular eating, etc. After donation, drank whatever they gave, usually I don't drink those. Then I travelled in bus, ate well, drank fuilds well, etc. Took rest, no strenuous tasks for the next 24-48hrs. I caught cold, severe cough, and it's thunderous cough with phlegm mostly. I was not able to eat well in the initial days, now I'm eating, but not back to original diet routine. I also notice in the last few days the eyes are discharging something white on the regular daytime, if its the next day, it's more. Kindly advise, whether it's something to worry or can be taken care. Note: the blood was extracted by a nurse who is just starting to learn how to prick and extract, and she splashed my blood all over my hand, her shirt etc. I have donated blood several times in the past, never faced a situation like this, not able to report to office on a regular basis.

Hii doctors! My brother is coughing one or two times a day and that time he vomits also. He has mild pain in right side ( chest to lower abdomen , earlier it was severe but it has reduced now ). He has lost weight from 78 to 64-65 kg in 2.5 months. He is coughing and vomiting since last 1 month. I am attaching his ultrasound and chest X-ray. He had severe illness 1 month ago , all his symptoms are gone but above mentioned are still present. I request you doctors, Please provide me some solutions.we are really going through really difficult time.Please give your precious time in giving opinion. His wbc count is 11200, total bilirubin 0.9 ( direct 0.2 , indirect 0.7 ) sgpt 62 , sgot 41 rest lft values normal. Thank you!!

Its been more than 6 weeks i have been suffering.Initially, a burning sensation in the chest was severe  specially after consuming any spicy food ..but it will normalise on its own, once i followed some home remedies like ginger juice or baking soda with water for neutralizing the acid..i went to a local pharmacist he gave me an antacid for a week,i cured perfectly.I got back to my normal schedule but still managed to have healthy and non spicy food and also controlled smoking as per my doctor's advice. But now when the chest burn was cured i started having dry cough every time i would lay on my bed.No other issues no chest pain no breathing issues  (it happens only if i climb the stairs once or twice) neither any fever nor cold.I feel hungry i consume though less quantity of food.Recently,i went to a MD, he prescribed me some medicines and today the course will be completed but still the dry cough hasn't cured yet.I shall send the prescription along with that i aslo had (PAN Mps.)

I have been having hyperacidiyyu issue since over a year (heartburn, acid reflux). I almost always eat home food now, stopped having tea even, stopped consuming colaetc But since last 3 mths or so I cannot live without having a Pentocid 40 tablet every morning (earlier I used to take Zinetac but that doesn't help that much as Pentocid does). The acidity is in control but I get a lot of constant cough, coughing (khansi) doesn't help to bring out phlegm, there is slight wheezing while breathing sometime. I have also started snoring a lot with open mouth which sometimes cause intense dry mouth and throat causing me to wake-up during night. I don't want to go surgery route and absolutely fear endoscopy. Is there a natural solution to this issue? Can using Pentocid daily cause any side effect (I am also on Telma 40 for BP). Behaviorally, I can tell you that I am a very hypochondriac guy, very self-centered but I am not under stress or anything. I don't smoke or drink. I am currently 45.

My son recovered from a long cough for almost 1.5 months which used to come when he sleeps(noon/night). 2 week after that he got fever and we have paracetamol(3.5ml twice 6 hrs gap) and next day he recovered. After that he got dry cough and runny nose. Now he is coughing during the day and also when goes for sleep(noon/night) it gets worse. During the day he eats, plays well also once the cough stops he sleeps well. I could also observe little bit snoring during sleep and whenever he changes the position it stops and after a minute it resumes again. His saturation level is 96, pulse is normal. Breathing is normal during the day and when sleeps sometimes it's little louder. Doctor says it's viral due to drastic change in weather and due to change in location(travel hometown)he repeatedly got infected but I am worried because of the long running cough if it turns to any other permanent issues. Based on the above information can anyone tell me what could be the issue and any suggestions?

My 2 years 4 months old sun was admitted 2 months back for cough and high fever 103 F. Blood report showed pcv-32 6, mcv- 57.3, mch 17.8,  mchc 31.0, rdw-cv 21.5 , Hb- 10.1, Rbc count -5.69. Since then he is having cough problem and gets fever whenever the cough and mucus increases too much.(got fever about 3 times in this period) we are consulting local child specialist continuously but the medication doesn't seems to help. Currently he is just taking saline nose drop and a vitamin A+d3 supplement. Mucus still couds when he coughs . Please help to reduce his cough and so that he dont get fever again...

I am 32 yr old, weight is 70 aprox, and height 5ft 10inches. I have old cough and cold since childhood. Presently it is troubling me very much. My nose, one side always remains pack due to cough. I feel heavy cough in my throat. Often feel headache during cough and cold. Area of headache is generally behind the ears and back side of neck. Alongwith this I have sneezing problem too. Cough get worse when I sneeze. Usually sneezing happens in morning, and the times when I get out of somewhere like home, office, cabin, car. Medicines like trikatu churn, shitopalaadi provides relief but it increases constipation with hardening of stomuch and gastric. I have little constipation too. Most of the time having high amount of shitopladi or trikatu churn, or taking allopathy medicine like citrazine affrects my sexual health as well,and made me pee with higher frequency. Please help.
