Baby son. Age- 6 months. Weight- 6.2kg My baby was having cough and 101.4 fever yesterday. We tool him to pediatric doctor in evening. They gave medicines. They told to give 3 ml pcm if baby has fever else not. We gave 3 ml pcm at 8 pm. It relieved for sometime. But at 1-2 am in night, fever and cough worsened and he was having 102.5 fever. We gave him 3 ml pcm again at 2-30 am. Then it relieved for sometime and he is again having high fever at 8 am. Should we keep giving pcm after every 6 hours if fever comes? Does it happen usually. Should we visit to doctor again?

Hi, my baby is 1.5 yrs old and had been I'll since a month on on and off basis.. He had fever a month back that got subsided in a week. He had been feeling week since that... He again had an attack of fever a week back (103-4 around) with coughing and sneezing.. That fever subsided in a week but he still had coughing with vomiting... He had not been eating anything since a week and is currently relying on milk and ORS.. If he is even trying to eat something, he vomits it while sleeping.. Would like to know the remedy. Moreover, he is 1.5 months old but he still crawls and do not walk unsupported. He walks with holding bed/objects. Is it normal or is it a kind of development delay..

Hello doctor, My kid is 2.5 yrs old. Initially he had cold and fever at night only. We visited doctor and he was ok in 3days and he was back to school. Last friday he got severe cough, we visited doctor. Doctor recommended for nebulization due to heavy congestion with tablet. Once we started nebulization in hospital for 2days cough reduced however fever started. He is having fever during morning and night. Around 100 to 101. 3rd day it is same. Baby is active. But worried why fever is occuring. Please advise.

Hello, My kid started offline school from June and from there onwards he is having cough issues continuously till date. We have changed two doctors. Flu vaccine is given. Current doctor has prescribed aerocort for free days then foracort for next couple of months and a pink tablet for 7 months. He says it will go as he ages not to panic. My kid when stopped tusqD and the aerocort has continued dry cough and at nights it worsens and he is not able to sleep. When we visit doctor, most of the patients are having same symptoms and doctor prescrips same medicines.Dr says not to worry but looking at kid causing sleepsless night's rest of the family members gets tensed. I took another opinion from third Dr who says either the immunity is low or check with ENT Dr. Please guide. Thank you in advance.

My son (4.5yrs) is frequently falling sick with cold, cough and fever. Consulted ayurveda doctor for this issue and was giving the below medicines from past 5 days. 1. Sitopaladi churnam(1/2tsp 2 times a day) 2. Amrita kanakavasa(10ml 2 times a day) 3. Vasakot(sos) 4. Gorachandi gulika(1 tab in the morning) My kid has got cold and cough again.. so have started giving allopathy medicines. Can I continue to giv the ayurveda medicines along with allopathy medicines?

Hi Doctor, I am having dry cough(on and off) from almost last 6 months. And also seems like have lost around 3 to 4 kg in last 5 months. As per last ENT doctor, it seems like a cronic bronchitis and i just finished his 1 month medication yesterday, however although my cough is little better(probably 5%) but it still the same. Also one week back i had mild fever(100-102) and chills for a week. After completing 5 days medication my fever went off, but still sometimes i am having chills without fever. Kindly suggest what need to be done or which doctor should i go for better consultation and diagnosis. Thank in advance.

Hi Team, My baby is 3.5 months (Forumula & Breast feed) old and has been suffering from Cold , Cough since last Tuesday. Consulted a paediatrician the next day and he prescribed AscorilLS  & Betnesol oral  drops for 3 d ays, since it dint subside consulted him yesterday and he recommended Kufril LS and Clamp for a week . After giving Kufril , baby is down with diarrhoea and rashes. Please advise. I am totally confused how to proceed , should I stop Kufril or shall I proceed . Baby is still having dry cough.

My doctor prescribed Montair LC (0-0-1) and pan D(1-0-0) for 15 days for mild dry cough mostly only while speaking since last 16-20 days and no other cold symptoms and there isn't any asthma or acidity problem in my mother. So after 15 days if we stop prescribed medicines, don't she probe to any asthma attack or acidity or GERD related problem in future??? instead all above prescribed medicines, if she takes strepsils lozenges and piriton cs cough suppressant, won't it give any relief rather than taking above prescribed medicines? kindly suggest
