Hi I am having Continuous Cough for a week now. Symptoms: Severe cough throughout day and worse at night.. I cough from deep lung. Sore throat, throat irritation. Itching like sensation on throat.. If I breath heavily it is irritating my throat. If I speak it gets worse. Little white color mucus comes while coughing. No fever. But felt chills. Does not feel like nasal congestion or sinus. My child is 14 months old and vomiting every night since last 3 days. He starts coughing and starts vomiting. For the whole day, he hardly coughs 1-2 times. But in Night, he suddenly starts coughing and then vomits. We feed solid food around 9:30 PM (mostly khichdi or daliya) everyday and after an hour or 1:30 Hrs we bootle feed him. We saw paediatrician today, but he suggested this is some allergy and has suggested Kidpred, Levolin and Monastic LC. Please let me know if I should be concerned as we both Mother and Father do not have any allergies. Also, my son hardly had any cold or cough till now (1-2 times only).
