Recently Answered Questions on wet cough syrup

My Mother-in-law has severe dry cough for past 3 days. No mucus comes out while coughing. This has lead to hoarseness in her voice. Not only that, due to the severe dry cough her body has started aching while coughing. She usually has such coughs during every season change. This makes her physically weak as well. She has no appetite either. In such a condition what medicines could be used for her ailment. Please suggest me.

I am having cough from past 2 years and consulted a pulmonologist.he advised me to take some medicine as he found only allergic cough problems,but i am still suffering my cough issue after taking medicine for 15 days.For how long should i have to the the medicine Is there is permanent cure to this ??((cough leads to vomiting and is caused because a clot of cough will form in the neck and will trouble me until i spit it for 1-2 hours until it is removed.Mostly it will removed after vomitings.))
