Recently Answered Questions on Permethrin

I've been having constant itching in pubic area and anal area from last couple of months and found out scabies type worms. I used permethrin lotion and it was okay but then it reoccured after a month. It is really irritating. It sometimes spreads to the thighs also.

I am experiencing itching & developing red rashes and wound around my genital (penis) area. I have consulted doctors in past for treatment and doctor advised for taking permethrin cream alongwith evermectin. After taking the complete dose of medicine for next few months it is working well. But again after few months it is recurring and the itching is getting painful. Kindly advise for better treatment.

I am diagnosed with Nodular scabies (bumps on genitals and scrotum). I Applied Permethrin a couple of days ago and from the next day been getting blisters and bumps all over the body now. 1. Is it a cause of concern or a normal thing to happen? 2. When should I see a change/effect of the medication? Thanks in advance docs🙏

Hello,my 2 month baby has scabies and her pediatrician gives antibiotic (amoxicillin and potassium clavulanate oral suspension) and permethrin cream.after taking medicines ,her disease found better.but some redness in her cheek like allegy.Is antibiotic makes face redness? How to get rid of it? Pls reply

I have used permethrin cream to treat scabies after treatment my penis skin become like this bcz i have scabies on my scrotum and penis too... Scabies itch around my body is gone but penis have this dry and flaky skin which cause cuts on penis

These are the rashes that I got on my legs and hands..  I have been using permethrin 5 percent as suggested by my gynaecologist.. I can see that rashes and itching are getting worser day by day..Iam 39 weeks pregnant and this itching is intolerable.. Are these common in pregnancy and will they go after delivery.. How long after scabies treatment does the itching persist? I have taken 2 tablets of oral ivermectin and three applications of permethrin 5% cream over the past three weeks. Most of the itching has gone but mild itching is present through the day, sometimes increasing in the evening.

Hi recently found scabies to me. Small rashes and pimple like bumps in hands, rashes in thighs, abdomen. Severe itching in thighs and hands in night time. Doctor suggested permethrin 5% neck to toe.. after 4 days new bumps coming, itching on scalp & face. If I take oral tablet teczine 1 day no itching, again severe itching, new bumps. How to treat

I have infected by scabies mite few months back. Have undergone medications suggested by doctor including multiple application of Permethrin Cream and Clobetasol Propionate & Gentamicin Sulphate Cream. Two dosage of ivermectin. Washing all my clothes in hot water. Still I'm getting reinfected each time after the medication. Suggest if i'm missing anything to get rid of reinfection.

I have a mild level of itching on my testicles. In my testicles there occured certain bumps because of scratching. At night i feel like itchiness increases during sleep time. I had scabies before which i treated with the Permethrin cream 5% lotion. I applied the lotion on the whole body and my testicles too. My scabies got treated but after that my balls itchiness increased. I cant surely tell if it started because of the lotion. Just thought to say it. I attached some pics of my testicles.
