Recently Answered Questions on Miconazole

9 months back I had dry flaky skin on eyelids which was not getting cured with natural remedies therefore consulted dermatologist. Dr provided with Tacrolimus ointment 0.1 ./. W/w to apply in night for 5 days and clobetasone butyrate and miconazole nitrate skin cream to apply 2 times a day for 15 days. my symptoms got treated after that but since then many times the same symptoms occurred again and I had repeated the ointments as prescribed. What should I do now. Is there any side effects after using such treatment for long time.

1.I am having dark skin under my eyes as in attached image.Are these dark circles?How can I get rid of them? 2.I have itchy skin on back side of knees.I can see some white dots as in  attached image 3.I have itchy skin in the skin area below balls.I tried creams for jock itch like clotrimazole,miconazole but can't get rid of them.Also I tried putting zaalim lotion which stops my itch temporary for 1-2 days and a layer like khurant is formed which is itchy.Nothing abnormal visible in that area.

I'm having fungal infection in the groin and buttock area. Its been 5 months. I have used Terbinafirce Lite and Lobate GM but nothing worked. Now I'm planning to a mixture of Candid-B Cream and Zole-F Cream. Compositions Composition of Zole -F :-- Miconazole Nitrate and Fluocinolone Acetonide Composition of Candid B:-- Clotrimazole and Beclomethasone So I'm kind of confused whether to mix both and then use or apply one single ointment at a time. I have got buttock fungal infection from last four month and it has also spread in my frontal regions i mean inner thighs amd labia majora the upper skin it is not exactly like ring worm bt it is elevated like a mosquito bite which slowly joins amd forms a big elevated circle i have tried all type of medicine amd creams like itraconazole amd terbinafine tablets miconazole terbinafine cream clomatriazole kream ketoconazole cream under the supervision of doctors it dissapeared twice again it is appearing what shld i do now it is disturbing me mentally

I am having a severe skin infection in which I have red scaly itchy circular patches allover my private area,hips,underarms,on shoulders,feets and big patches on thighs which are getting black in colour  day by day.I am  also facing hair loss and infection on nails which is turning them yellowish. I consulted a doctor in government hospital and had a treatment of about 2-3 months but nothing went well and the infection is getting really worse.I am a student and I am unable spend much on medication. The doctor said that this thing is ringworm and he suggested me the following medicines: Itraconazole 200mg(1-0-1). Atarax(½-0-½). Ketosoap. Dusting powder. Fungitop cream(miconazole 2% w/w) Now I have stopped taking those medicines as I ran outoff stock and the medicines weren't doing anything well to me.please help me ,due to this infection I stay embarrassed and worried all the time ,it is emotionally distressing to me .

I have been having this itch condition for a year & longer. I figured I could manage this this condition using topical cream "MICLOGENTA" prescribed in Mumbai. The condition would re-emerge once the ointment use was discontinued. The worst affected areas are scalp, chest(I do shave my chest region and may have lesions there on that accord) , groin, abdomen and also lower calf. Must add, there is almost nothing to show as there are no lesions or outbreaks. I have done some reading about the prolonged use of "Clobetasol-Miconazole Nitrate" based ointments and side effects and was concerned to read the effect on adrenal glands. Now based outta a small town & using "Agmaderm"and cant visit a doctor due to curbs. Consulted a doctor online a few days ago and she prescribed me Shampoo, cream & tabs, not helping and there is massive itch on my scalp and my chest This itch has now progressed on to my thighs, abdomen and the groin area too Can you please help?? Am desperate now...

Kind of ring worm. (some kind of bacterial skin infection ) Immediately below Groin region; only left thigh. Size: Initially it was just half an inch. Now it grew up to a size of a fist. No serum, no fluid. Itchy (not all the time) The sides are getting red. center part heals.. Those reds are itchy. 3 months now. Remedies: Creams (5g, 20g, 5g) FourDerm (Cipla): Chlorhexidine Gluconate, Clobetasol, Miconazole, and Neomycin Candid-B (Glenmark): Clotrimazole, Beclometasone Neobecmet-CG (Ind-Swift): Beclometasone, Clotrimazole, and Neomycin Tablet (3) Fluka-150 (Cipla): Fluconazole Tablet did removed the itch completely but i took 1 tab in 1st week. then 2 tab in 2nd week and then stopped. so a total of 3 tablet.

Hi I consulted with a dermatologist on 13/04/2020 regarding swelling and red patch with mild itching on my ankle and was diagnosed with tinea. Since it didint get better after two weeks of medication I consulted again  on 26/04/2020 with another doctor and was diagnosed with psoriasis. I've attached images of my ankle two weeks back as well as of today please help me out. First prescription 13/04/2020 1. Teczine tablet 0-0-1 for 1 week 2. Miconazole cream 1-0-1 for 2 weeks Second prescription 26/04/2020 1. Cirobirex x ointemt 1 table spoon morning and night after food for 2 weeks 2. Dazit tablet   0-0-1.  after food for 2 weeks 3. Methotrexate 5mg table Once a week for 4 weeks after food 4. Folica OD tablet. 1-0-0 Daily after food for 4 weeks Was I given the correct diagnosis please help me out.
