Recently Answered Questions on Left side discomfort under ribs

Mucous and chest congestion.. White jelly like and sometime fibrous mucous coming out from lungs.. Chest feels tight around left lower rib and sometimes in center.. After coughing the mucous the tightness goes away. Bad breath in morning after waking up and upper back pain below shoulders in morning. Do not have any fever or breathing issue but Suffering from acidity, heartburn and flatulence.

Pain in upper left side of the body which does not persist more than 15 mins..occuring once or twice a day..He is describing it like cramp in the muscle ribs..Consulted a cardio doc but he ignored.. Recently my father gone through left kidney stone removal process..A stent was put and later removed...No other symptoms is there apart from the short term pain..ECG and eco cardiogram reports are normal.nd bp with medication is under control...He is non smoker and non alcoholic...

Hello. I am 15 years old. I was ill for 1 month with a really high fever and constant vomiting after eating anything. I went to the hospital and i was admitted, and my urine and blood was taken for testing and cultures. I was told that i have a urinary tract infection, and i was given IV antibiotics for 5 days. Then i was given an oral antibiotic course for 3 days - so 9 tablets. One day after finishing the course, i started experiencing extreme pain in my upper abdomen and ribs after eating

I have been getting a sharp stabbing pain that occurs on the right side of my ribs, just about level with my nipple, though it's under my arm. When the stabbing pain occurs there I also feel a sharp strapping in my temple at the same time. What gives? The pain comes in short bursts then fades away until it starts up again. It's quite painful, on a scale in 1-10 saying a 6 would be fair. While they do stagger themselves I find I always have a slight headache after. Thanks so much!

I sustained a fall onto my upper back from about 4 feet; once I hit the ground, my head also fell back. I have a sore neck and ribs (legs were up in the air when I fell), and no headache. I didn't lose consciousness or become dizzy, nauseated, or shaky. No vision changes and I feel fine otherwise. I do have a small bump on the back of my head.

I don't know where else I could've asked this and feel a bit silly doing so. But, I am writing a sci-fi story and the human character is punched just under the ribs by a very strong alien. I want to know what kind of non-fatal, yet serious enough to need medical attention injuries I could give the character to make the scene feel more "real"?. I’ve had the Mirena IUD since December of 2016. I’ve had the typical pain during sex in certain positions and my periods have been getting lighter up until recently. I had a five day long period which is long for me even before the Mirena. I have no fever or chills that I can tell, but some bloating and a pain in my left lower abdomen, mostly in the front and not under the rib cage. It subsides and returns at different times and during different activities. Slight constipation.

Hi, I just finished eating spaghetti on toast and drinking some water when I got a sharp pain travel throughout my torso, there is a sharp pain in my lower back on either side pain the intensity of the pain switches between sides, at first my left side was most painful but now it is my right, my chest also hurts where my ribs stop in the middle and it is extremely painful, especially on the left side, when taking a deep breath I also have pain in the intestinal area I am nearly 8 weeks pregnant
