Recently Answered Questions on Left side discomfort under ribs

I’ve had the Mirena IUD since December of 2016. I’ve had the typical pain during sex in certain positions and my periods have been getting lighter up until recently. I had a five day long period which is long for me even before the Mirena. I have no fever or chills that I can tell, but some bloating and a pain in my left lower abdomen, mostly in the front and not under the rib cage. It subsides and returns at different times and during different activities. Slight constipation.

Hi, I just finished eating spaghetti on toast and drinking some water when I got a sharp pain travel throughout my torso, there is a sharp pain in my lower back on either side pain the intensity of the pain switches between sides, at first my left side was most painful but now it is my right, my chest also hurts where my ribs stop in the middle and it is extremely painful, especially on the left side, when taking a deep breath I also have pain in the intestinal area I am nearly 8 weeks pregnant

I've been having lots of vaginal pain. Sometimes stabbing, aching, sometimes inward pain and sometimes outer pain, sometimes it's on the left, sometimes on the right. I've missed 2 periods. I've always had this pain but only once in awhile. I've had it every day for a week now. Also with it I've gotten back/rib spasms. Like on my side but towards the back more than the front and ONLY on the left side. I went to my doctor and she ordered blood work and an ultrasound but won't be done for 3 months

Hi I scraped the outside of my knee in June and it acted like it was healing normally at first. It scabbed over but then the scab fell off and there has been a mark that kind of looks like a scab since but it doesn't go away! Same thing happened on the left side of my stomach around my rib cage a few weeks ago and it's a reddish mark that won heal! I am wondering why they won't heal, what it could be and if I should go to a doctor about it? Thanks!

Hi my vitamin d3 was 4 and I m advised uprise d3 60 k once a week for 8 weeks and remylin d once a day for a month. One month is passed but hardly n e development. I still feel weak pain in my ribs n feel cold in slight ac. Also my eyes burns and hv hot urine. I m also taking orofer for iron

Now a days am always having a tiredness feeling,I was down with fever last month and it took almost 4 weeks to recover, did almost all the tests prescribed by the doctors , everything was normal.but still am feeling a heaviness in my head and also pain in various part of my body.the pain is deep (feels like it is in the bone), sharp/stabbing and short in ​duration,It occurs frequently and randomly in different places on my body ​ (​ribs, shoulder,fingers,lower legs ​and sometimes my head)

Few weeks earlier i had chest and rib pain . Got xray and all normal . Then chest pain got resolved and i had back pain . Some time centre of back and some time lower back. Also am having pain in some other bones . Pain is mild and i am able to do every thing . It goes away as wellon its own . I did vitamin d test today and its 13 . Is this low and reason for my pain ? If yes please suggest next steps .

Hello doctor I'm a 26 year old female. I experience pain in left abdomen under ribs when pressed. My ultrasound reports says that mildly enlarged liver +160mm) with normal echotexture.no focal pathology seen. There is no evidence of intrahepatic biliary dilatation.CBD and portal vein appear normal. What could be the cause?please explain.

Hi I was told about year and half ago that I have a extra heart. Also was told that my lungs aren't developed im 17 btw. So since my lungs aren't developed they get hook on my rib cage and I get bad sharp pains in my back and chest I was told they should only last no more than 5 mins we'll yetaerday it was really bad and lasted all day on a scale 1-10 I was say the was about 7. I been told I will grow out of but... how can I have pains that long and literally because of these I cant do nothing

I have spondylosis. Total body joints pain. Left leg muscle pain.hands and legs to feet pain hip ribs total bones pain feeling. One month back ihad dengue fever is this symptoms of dengue. Fever is totally control platelets amd blood report normal now. Pls tell suggestions to me which doctor am consult now spine surgon or any other doctor
