Recently Answered Questions on Left side discomfort under ribs

Hi Sir, Suddenly for the last 6 days, I feel pain around left rib and chest area while deep breathing and walking. When I sleep, I don't feel the pain, but if doing any activities, I feel pain all throught out the day. Recently I have check my blood sugar and it's 250 after meal. I don't have the sugar level even before 6 months. Any advise could be appreciated and if further consultation is recommended, I will follow.

Hi doctor! I feels some pain right side just below the ribs while touching for last 4 years.I had consulted so many doctors but no relief...i had done with endoscopy,Cect abdomen,hrct chest,but nothing came out.i took neuropathy medicine like pregabalin,maxgalin,trytomer as per doctor advise,but not relief. In CECT there are some multiple messenteic lymph nodes are seen. Kindly advise for the further as well as medicine also. Thankyou.

Hi Dr , I met with an accident last week which had one crack in my 6th right rib. ( Confirmed via ct scan). Can you tell which pain killers or medicines to heal faster. Currently I m taking topla D as a pain killer which needs to be taken for more 3 days. Please share Ur views and other things to keep in mind. Will the crack heal on its own ?

Age:15, Gender: Male I'm 15 years old weigh about 130 and i woke up today with dull pain on my right side of my rib cage. I ate a lot of food yesterday so I'm wondering if that could have anything to do with it or it's just a coincidence. Also I've had this problem once before about 6 months ago and i rested the whole day and the next day i felt fine. Can you tell me what this is and how i can stop it from happening?

I feel constant pressure and heaviness in the right abdomen from near rib cage to below navel spreading near back. It does not involve any pain. the intensity increases at night, especially when changing sides during sleep.I am having this problem since last 3 days, I do not consume alcohol, and my weight is normal.

Hi, My husband had a fall from a two wheeler a week back and hurt his rib.. Ortho prescribed a Diclofenac patch called nu patch for 5 days.. He has been using it for 3 days now.. But no respite. Today we did an x ray and found there was no fracture.. He has mild heavy breathing while trying to lie down.. Otherwise breathing is normal.. But pain is not coming down.. Difficult to sit and stand also.. Pain is radiating to shoulder and back.. Please suggest

From the last 2-3 days i am having a new slight pain in right rib, when do something the pain starts but not a severe pain or srabbing pain, but a dull pain. But this pain is the first time i ever faced. I am 24 years old , does this shows any issue in lungs?. Covid is negative, till now no covid positive,spo2 were normal no covid symptom. No cough also. When i breath i have slight pain. But when i stretch to take something the pain is more than when i take breath

I had liver transplant in November 2019. Since March 2020 I have pain in ribs area. I have consulted the doctor who did the operation he advised ultracet & cool padding around the area. I also talked to orthopedic through practo. He advised ointment & continue with pain killer. But the pain still persists. Sometimes the pain is so severe I cannot bear Because of Corona my surgery doctor is advising not to visit Hospital for full checkup Pls advise

I am experiencing a kind of pain around rib area while changing positions. And while coughing in a bent position. I experience this very rarely but it is disturbing. I did got myself checked up by the general Physician and got tests done for hematology, liver function test, echocardiogram, ultrasonography and they were normal. I do also experience phelgm out of cold which are sometimes colourless with black particles. This problem is making me really nervous and concerning my daily life. I stay disturbed most of the time.

My wife is suffering from. Severe pain under her ribs upto 2 inches and 2_3 inches above the naval...She is 6 weeks pregnant. She has this pain from last three days whenever she eats or drinks she feels some that food stuff or liquid directly hits something...I have done with the whole abdomen ultrasound but there was nothing even doctors are prescribing only medicines or liquids for gastrititis...But they are nothing to do with pain...pls help me out
