Recently Answered Questions on Left side discomfort under ribs

Since around 10 p.m. last night (it's 4 a.m. right now, so 6 hours into the night), I've had an intense pain in my right side. It feels like it's at the bottom or below my ribs and goes down and around my hip. It feels as though it's spreading on my left side as well. The pain makes it hard to breathe, and feels almost like spasms at times.

Step Dad was in a bad car accidental. He is mostly over the trauma of the wreck (head, ribs, vertebra) but he has had pnuemonia in his lungs for several weeks now and it is not responding much to treatment with antibiotics. He smoked for decades (quit 5 years ago) and doctors said his lungs are weakened due to that. Any advice is appreciated!

24 hours ago my whole abdominal area became very tender to the touch. I ate about 2 hours before it started, so I didn't think it was anything serious. Woke up the next morning and it's still very tender from right below my ribs all the way to the top of my pelvic bone. It hurts every time I take a step, move and when I touch it.

I am having a pain for a day..near lower left side of chest..near the bottm side of heart...when i press my rib near the area its paining..and when i try to inhale more oxygen..then its hurting..what is thr issue.is there an kidney infection..or stones?

Last week My father was suffering from frequent pain in his chest rib and shoulder. I took him to near by clinic and had an ECG done. There were no abnormal findings in the ECG however it states that he has Sinus Arrhythmia and premature artial contraction. My father age is 85 and he is really worried about this.

I have excess stinky flatulence and burping accompanied by pain sometimes in the abdomen, stomach or under the ribs, frequent stomach upsets. I get headache and stomach pain if my meal is delayed. I'm not putting on weight even though I'm consuming enough. In addition I have cold allergy all over the year.

I have been to numerous doctors and have learnt that between my c6 and c7 cervical ribs there is a nerve that is pinched, this causes constant pain. A vascular surgeon said that although surgery may help it is risky since its intricate and he does not suggest it.Pls advice

Having a chest ache for 4 days every time I wake up in the morning. It's like a muscle pull just left of my rib cage. Today morning I didn't have a chest ache but my left arm hurt. But it felt like a muscle pull (. If I press it hurts)

I have constant heaviness in my abdomen directly under the rib cage. I occasionally feel lumpiness but it goes away almost as soon as it starts. It feels intestinal and although it does not hurt it is uncomfortable. It was originally thought to be a hernia sitting Dien is only relief Ihave had abdominal ultrasound and blood work and all is normal.
