Use of Isolazine tablet

Dear Doctors, my father had a cardiovascular surgery for placing a stent in his heart. He started having CKD after the surgery and his creatine level was 1.5 throughout. He maintained his creatine lively consistently but recently the cardiologist added Isolazine to improve his heart function. After taking Isolazine for 2 months his pressure got elevated and he complained about severe back pain too. His legs started swollen too. Should I need to consult with my cardiologist to replace Isolazine? Does Isolazine is fine for CKD patients? Please advise.

Isolazine for CKD patient

Dear Doctors, my father is 76 years old now and he  was diagnosed with triple vessel coronary artery disease with lmca disease 3 years before. He had angioplasty procedure to keep stent in one of the major artery block and cardiologist advised to mange the other 2 100% blocks via medical management. Unfortunately after the angioplasty procedure his kidney got affected and his creatine level was 1.6. Till now, almost 3 years almost he managed his creatine level 1.6-1.8 by following strict diet. Recently the cardiologist changed the medicine to improve his heart function. He was given Isolazine and his blood pressure got increased and one of his legs got swollen. Not sure if the fluid retention is because of kidney or heart issue. Is Isolazine safe for kidney patients? Should it be stopped? He has taken the medicine for four months now. Please advise. Many thanks in advance.

Diet for 57 Year old dialysis patient

Hi. My mother recovered recently from COVID undergoes dialysis three times a week which started five years back with a frequency of once a week in 2016. She has high BP and post COVID her lungs strength has decreased. Recently, due to fluid overload her oxygen saturation dropped with abnormally high and varying pulse. As a emergency treatment isolazine is started with her regular BP medications. I wanted to know about a heart renal friendly diet that could be followed in detail with what to eat and what not to eat since High Potassium and Sodium with high level of fluids already created a critical situation once and I would like to avoid it with the best possible options. A regular diet rich in protien, low in potassium and phosphorus, low salt suitable for both affected kidney and heart.
