Diet & Exercise medication improve LVEF
My father was operated CABG last year AND it was reported that he had low LVEF even after grafting. What should be included in his diet, exercise or medication for improvement in LVEF? he is currently taking CARDIVAS 6.25, ISOLAZINE AND ECOSPRIN GOLD 20 for heart. He is a diabetic patient and CKD having creatine baseline at 2.0. His HBA1C is at 7.9. Echo test after surgery was attached with recent KFT report.

Hello, Unfortunately the medicines given for improvement of LVEF are toxic to kidneys so can not give in this case as he already had kidney issues. Present medicines seem fine for his profile. HBA1C is little high. Get it in control in consultation with a diabetalogist and ask him to include SGLT2 inhibitor in the prescription
