Dear Doctors, my father had a cardiovascular surgery for placing a stent in his heart. He started having CKD after the surgery and his creatine level was 1.5 throughout. He maintained his creatine lively consistently but recently the cardiologist added Isolazine to improve his heart function. After taking Isolazine for 2 months his pressure got elevated and he complained about severe back pain too. His legs started swollen too. Should I need to consult with my cardiologist to replace Isolazine? Does Isolazine is fine for CKD patients? Please advise.
