Hi doctor I had Covid in the last 10 days. Although everything is fine but I have high esr (50). Should I take methylprednisolone or dexamethasone to lower the same. Will it help? I have heard about the side effects of steroids so little worried. Crp is normal 4.2 Cbc is normal Chest x ray is normal

My mother tested positive for Corona 15 days back. now from 2 days she is discharged from hospital. Dexamethasone injection given for 5 days in treatment. Now she has No fever. My mother has taken covid-19 medicine for 1 week now..Below are the medicine which she has taken Feviflu Dexamethasone Dolo Zincovit Limcee Ivermiticin Symptoms have started from 1 Sep and she was tested positive on 4th Sep..She has taken medicine for 1 week after that and bp,fever,oxygen and pulse is fine and under control now...She is having breathlessness now and no other symptoms are there.Her reports are still positive after 1 week of medication . Do we have to continue the medicine?i.e.feviflu , dexamethasone .Doc has prescribed hcqs for week 2.

I had dengue from 8th Oct to 21st Oct and covid from 19th Oct (inspite of 2 doses of vaccine 2 months ago). I also had conjunctivitis on 21st Oct and was told to take Moxifloxacin and Dexamethasone eye drops 4 times a day for 5 days. I took only this medicine while I was having covid. My covid symptoms so far were: 99.3°F (sometimes) for first 2 days, loss of smell, cold, mild cough. Am I at risk of getting mucormycosis since I used Dexamethasone eye drops on one eye?

I tested positive on 24th April..was in hospital for 17 days.. only because I have no other place for isolation..was on dexamethasone for 10 days..4mg BD for 7days then 4mg OD for 4 days..only because once I got fever of 103.8 although I have continuous fever of 101 and 102 for around 5-7 days but once dexamethasone started ..I never got fever again.. Now from last few days i am worried for secondary infection black fungus..as sometimes my nose get blocked on and off in nature..I have toothache also for which I have visited dentist and they told me that this is wisdom teeth pain nothing else . Should I worry and what are my chances for mucor mycosis. Please Guide Thank you

Helo dr . I went to near pharmacist to take advice about weight gain , he adviced me to take dexamethasone nd cyproheptadine HCL tablets .. I used it within 5days i increased my weight but after de use dat tablets i studied that dexamethasone is a immunosuppressent , which upon chronic use can cause fungal and other infections .. i alrdy get fungal infctn at pelvic region , now im cured from it .. i went to local docter he advice to take silica 200 one dose nd bio combination .. is it advisible or plz prescribe correct medicine tnq
