I had elevated eye pressure during eye check up. But after thorough check up, doctors ruled out any glaucomatous changes. And told me that no intervention is required. I need to take deflazacort for orthopaedic indication for 20 days. 12 mg for first 10 days and 6 mg for next 10 days. I want to know if it is safe to take it or not?

I got the covid vaccine on Wednesday. I have seasonal allergies and this time it was pretty severe. I had to take 4 days of Deflazacort 6mg twice a day for 4 days after one week of vaccine. Starting Wednesday the next week. Since this is steroid, does it mean that vaccine first dose effectiveness is now less ? Or one week gap is good enough?

When I had an injury on left leg, orthopedist prescribed deflazacort 6mg a day for 10 days along with some pain killers and muscle relaxer. In this process, infection is developed in the private area along with the swelling near the inner thigh on right side that connects with the lower abdomen which has happened 3 months ago. I had been on medication since then from different drs. Dr says that there are small lymph nodes that swelled it seems in the thigh area. I had swelling in the neck and armpit on same side and the lower back pain too. Both the legs are under pain. I have pcos too. Does stopping the deflazacort suddenly gave me all this or what would be the reason for this and how should be the treatment?

Hi, No i was not diagnosed with covid twice. I recovered well from covid on Jul 15th. I had covid on Jul 5th and another cold on 25th Jul. For seasonal cold, doctor prescribed steroid and antibiotics for a week based on CBC and course completed on last sunday and I am feeling well now.  Just was worried about steroids intake for 7 days that it would compromise immune system. My orthopedist advised Defcort 6mg, Gabapentin 300mg, Baclofen 10mg and Folic acid 5mg for increased RA factor(138 U/ml) and by seeing clinical symptoms. Last night, I took Defcort 6mg at 9pm and Gabapentin at 11:30pm. But, around 4 o'clock at morning, both palm became little numb and I was sweating a little. Is this side effect or something else? (Earlier I was taking 200mg Gabapentin for 10 days, doctor increased this to 300mg since yesterday)

Hi, I was diagnosed with covid on July5th and recovered in 10 days. After 10 days of recovery again i got infection and doctor gave delazacort 6 and antibiotics for 7 days. Course completed on last sunday. I am worried that steroid would have affected my immune system. How to improve it. Thanks

Is Deflezacort 6mg safe to take regularly for a  32 years male asthma patient who has left kidney working 25% and had pyeloplasty surgery ? Right kidney is woking 75% and enlarged in size. creatinine is ok and normal. No any kidney disease related sign and symptoms.
