My son had cold and fever around 102F since last week Tuesday evening...we gave him paracetamol syrup 5 ml for every 4 hours but temprature didn't go down below 100 then we consulted a pediatrician on last Thursday and he gave him meftalp and levocetrizin and amoxycillin and potassium clavulanate antibiotic...I gave him meftalp two doses and fever was reduced and gave him antibiotic for 3 days...since from Sunday evening he is not given any medication...and no symptoms of cold and fever also till today afternoon...but frm today evening again he is having fever around 101.5 F in armpit...I also have given his blood samples for CRP and CBp today...what could be the reason for his fever .

My aunt was admitted to hospital on 11 April and was diagonsed with mild pnemonia. Her RTPCR report was negative though.While she was on hospital she was given sumol , amoxycillin etc intravenously.Her medication prescribed were- telekast, deriphylin, dexona, hcqs, ivermectin, augmentinm 625, panleaf dsr for one week.  Her bp was 90/60 yesterday and today after taking ORS here bp is 110/70 . Her spo2 lies between 96-98 . Her tenperature is normal. Her doctor is overburdened with patient and not taking any calls. What should i do now please suggest doctors.

Day before Yesterday i brought a medicine 'Amoxycillin &Potassium Clavulanate Tablets IP' from doctor for Swollen Lymph Nodes or Lumps in Neck. But from yesterday i am feeling shortness of Breath. I am also suffering of Acidity and gas , i was having Breathing problem from last four days (might be due to gas/anxiety) but was very very less but after taking this medicine i am feeling more shortness of breath. I am also feeling Sore throat and cough in my throat( gargling helps a lot) which sometimes come out very little (white in colour). What should i do? Should i stop taking this medicine.?Please help me. (These painless Swollen Lymph Nodes are giving me lot of stress from last 1.5 weeks.)

As i frequently had sinusitis within months or weeks along with rhinitis so i consulted with an ENT spec. he gave me levocetrizine..., amoxycillin and clauvanate..., nimesulphide and paracetamol.. for 4 days and asked me to bring CT scan. After 4 days medi worked nothing but ct scan report gave some impressions i.e attached My Ent said in order to get rid of frequently blocking of nostrils problem and pain in eye orbital area you must have gone through septoplasty. Iwant to know if this surgery is must to recover or any other medication would work instead.

Hi Dr B, I've been having stomach cramps (gastric pain) for couple of weeks and have been diagnosed with H.Pylori bacteria thru an endoscopy. I've been given Amoxycillin 500mg X2 and Metronidazole 200mg X2 to be taken twice daily after meal. My antibiotic course almost to complete, but I still have the cramps, dizziness, weak and soft stool (especially after each meal). Question: 1. Do I have to continue to take more antibiotics? 2. Is it common to have frequent soft stool with the intakes of such antibiotics? 3. Does it take some time to get rid H Pylori bacteria for good?

My daughter had fever for almost 9 days and doctor priscribed Amoxycillin (5+3 days) and nebulization with the findings of bronchopnuemonia. Post fever she is not eating anything and preferring to sleep all the time. We could see redness on her lips and doc alsp said she has soar throat. Its almost 5 days now post fever and she is not eating yet and falling asleep. At times she said stomach ache but i feel its not really an ache and due to empty stomach. Excreta has some mucus as well. I am worried about her sleep and not having food. Is it something to worry or she will take some time to recover completely. Please advice.

The major problems in this area ESR- 65 mm/hr CRP- 27.20 PCV-29.8% MCV-75fL MCH- 23.60 pg RDW- 15.50% And day before yesterday medicine was prescribed by the doctor is:- 1) Amoxycillin + Potassium Clavulanate 875mg + 125mg 2) Sporlqc Sachet 3) Signoflam 500mg 4) Rabeprazole ( before food) Please suggest me something to be changed or shall I continue this medicines. I'm in medication from last 5 days and now my urine is smelling little bit deferent. I'm having Amoxycillin 625 (2 times a day), Trypsin-chemotrypsin (2 times a day), Diethylcarbamazine (2 times a day) and Pentocid DSR (1 time a day in empty stomach). Mostly I feel smell change in morning with yellow color. After my fist urination of morning my urine is mostly have no smells and clear in color. I also done urine test before medication. Everything was fine in the reports.

I have nose pierced 15 days before. First one week I took tablets to heal faster which is prescribed by doctor. The tablet name is amoxycillin 250 mg morning, afternoon, night. After one week it's completely cured there is no pain or any pus formation. After 10 days there is a bump around my nose ring very little one it's started to bleed lightly I don't know what happened, again I went to same doctor he prescribed another antibiotic which is 600 mg i took this medicine for 1 week still there is pea size bump like flesh,healing is very slow. I don't feel any pain or pus formation , inside the nose is good no problem about that, only outside the nose half bump.. I'm worried about this pls suggest me what I should. Thank you

Hi there, Since day before testerday i was experiencing weakness and was down with fever, yeaterday my temperature reached upto 104 degrees..i am havig acute tonsilitis with white patches appearing on my tonsils...it is extremely painful...have been doing the betadine gargle every 1 hour...the temperature is not going down than 100.5 degrees...am taking paracip 500 ...amoxycillin capsules and one more tablet with the name like citrazin something...i wanna ask in how much time will i get rid of this pain ?...today was my 2nd dose...
