Recently Answered Questions on AMBROLITE

Hello doctor, I have been admitted in hospital for Pnemonia. My blood reports are normal except ESR which is marginally higher. Xray is attached. I got my Sputum test done and the e-report what I saw on doctor's phone showed something like Haemophilus influenzae(got exact term from Google) what doctor referred to as a type of bacteria that causes Pnemonia. The medication that are currently going on are Taximax 1500 Pulmoclear Zipod CV 200 Linowin and Ambrolite Mucolytic syrup. I used to have low grade fever but now the fever is not there for the past 3-4 days but the coughing still continues and aggravates very often. The coughing is completely dry and no Sputum is generated. The treatment has been going on for the past 6 days and I'm still in hospital. Would like your opinion on how long will it take for the recovery with the current treatment?

My 2 year old son's urine output has reduced a lot from past 2 to 3 days. Earlier we had to change his diaper every 4 to 5 hours otherwise it would leak. Now even after 8 hours his diaper is not even half filled. He has viral fever last week which has been cured but due to cough and chest congestion he is on medication Ambrolite-s 3times a day and tixylix kids cough syrup 3 times a day. Is this one of the side effects of medicines or something else. Do we need to rush to a pediatrician or can wait and watch. He is not eating anything these days...only taking milk and water. Please suggest.

Hello Doctor, I have been having persistent dry cough with little or no mucus for last 9-10 weeks. Problem started towards end of September when I was down with severe cough and sore throat. I even had some blood in my cough few times. On 26 December 2018 i had itching throat and then cough started. I had low grade fever and it went away with home medicine. cough did not go away and persisted throughout January 2019. I kept feeling ill and did not have taste also i have consistent sinusitis and my ear won't pop. In February i consulted gp and took cefakind 500 for 8 days and ambrolite syrup. Cough severity decreased but it is still there. 2 days ago i checked my blood and xray. Cbc esr was normal. We have construction work going on in our building since 1 year.my father had tb chest 2 years ago. I dont have evening rise fever but i m having low grade fever intermittently. I m a Ayurveda practitioner and i m at my witts end. Please help.
