During anomolyscan problem was noticed. As per gynaecologist advice cervix tightened by doing the minor operation ( stitches). Advised to continue gestakind SR 40 mg . 1/2 (10 am) -. 1/2 (10 pm). Whereas other gynaecologist ( alternate) has given another tablet whose name does not include SR.but content same isuxosprine hydrochloride 10 mg. 1 (10 am ) - 1( 10 pm) 1. Are both tablets same? 2. SR has got any meaning? 3. Y the difference in dosage? Any other advice, please

Hi doctor, I took Regestrone pills for a month to regularise my periods and aub now I have got my period. It's painful and I saw massive clots today. I have never had cramps before but I have had heavy bleeding before Now I'm bleeding profusely. Is this normal?
