My period date is 2nd and today it is 4 th.. And the problem is that periods haven't come yet..

I had my myomectomy done a month ago(2nd Nov)and got my first period after it yesterday i.e. 3rd December which is very very heavy. The fibroid that was taken out was an intramural one of 12X15cms and had made me very anaemic.But I was given blood transfusion before the surgery and have been fine since being operated upon. Please tell me why my period is still so heavy. I soak a pad every 2 hours.

Have taken augmentin 625 after my last periods for 5 days. 3 times a day. Can my periods be delayed?
