I got the Implanon implant 2 weeks ago and have got my second period in 10 days. This one is much heavier. If I get it removed will my period stop immediately or should I keep it in? I have an event this weekend that I really don’t want to be on my period for, is there any way I can stop it for a couple of days? I am also worried that it is making me fat.

I just got a prescription for the contraceptive pill (Levlen) and was wondering when I can start taking it. My period is due in 8 days. Can I start taking it now or do I need to wait until my period starts?? thanks
