What is the cause of endometriosis? Can it be treated? Is it affect menstruation cycle? What are the measures someone can take who is affected by this?

Endometriosis with pain, spotting for around 15 days and heavy bleeding. I started ayurvedic medicine a month back. Before that i have on contraceptive pills for 4 months but it did not work and i have to leave. After taking ayurvedic medicine for 1month symptoms are same can say slightly better. Endometriosis diagnosed few months back was 3mm in uterus and gynae has advised laproscopy. What shall i do.Is endo curable and i am married since 2 years and want to conceive asap. Please help
