I am a diabetes patient . I have heavy bleeding for past few months and stomach pain So I made a scan which shows few fibroids and adenomyoma. My gynaecologist suggested UAE since I'm 48 and I'll will reach menopause within 1 or 2 year I didn't hear about UAE before. Is it a safe procedure to go at this stage? Whether it has any side effects? Or should I go for hysterectomy? My uterus size(7.8*5.4*4.6) cm and few intramural fibroids largest 1.6*1.2 cm. Nabothian cyst (1.2*0.8)cm and my haemoglobin level is 11. Kindly suggest a good one or is there any other option other than the above?
