How many years can someone have phycosis without it being diagnosed as scizophrenia?

My mum fainted (or Atleast s that's what I think happened) she was lying on the ground with her legs shaking and when we tried to get her up she wasn't seeming like herself. She would repeat answers and ask questions more than once. Previously to the fall, I think she witnessed a heated argument between fellow family members and i don't know whether she fell because her blood pressure went low? Or whether because she was traumatised. Please help.

For d past few months a feeling of depression, disappointment, breaking of expection, a feeling that noone can understand me, a feeling that noone is interested in my mental agony, fear from certain people around me, fear against certain state of affairs, insecurity is looming large. When I get emotional for some reason I do wierd things which i regret later. Sometimes want to hurt myself,dnt wanna live. This is happening to me since last 1 year. I have severe anxiety (particularly with automobiles and airplanes) and it's gotten fired and semester failures and social outcasting. My doctors have tried three or four SSRIs (Prozac, Lexapro, Celexa, etc. [for 4-6 months each]), and besides the few weeks they had me on low doses of benzodiazepines. They helped REMARKABLY. I'm currently getting prescribed 400mg Seroquel and 100mg Trazadome, and those definitely helped my insomnia, but not my anxiety all too much. I just wish I could get help.
