Kidney Problems

My father age 58 has enlarged prostate 80cc and prostatitis. DRE was performed he felt extreme pain while doctor was pressing it. However no nodules were felt. Any side effect if this exam..is cancer risk low if no nodules felt during exam..

Good morning sir/madam, I am suffering with  kidney stones pain having two Ureteric calculus largest of size 6mm. Is it possible to remove Ureteric Calculi by Injecting saline(RL & NS) bottles through vein? or Is there any other possibility to remove Ureteric Calculi ?

Dear sir/madam, I am suffering with kidney stones pain ... I am having multiple Renal calculi of maximum size 5.3 mm in left kindney and two Ureteric calculus of maximum size 6mm...Is there any advanced surgical treatment for this? Please suggest for any Advanced treatment for solving this problem

In the last 24 hours I have been having a continuous urge to urinate, even after urination. I am not having any issue in holding it but the feeling is unsettling. There is no burning when I urinate, but a strange feeling of slight pain and slight burning right after urination that lasts for a couple of seconds. I do not have a fever. I have been told that I might have an overactive bladder, but I am only in my 20s so I feel that the chances are low. The urge to urinate is sometimes less and sometimes it becomes intense.

My father has one kidney by birth and following is his latest report.His creatinine level is 1.8 and serum urea is 80 mg/dl He has right back side pain for last 4 days. His weight is 89 kg.Is this serum urea high to a dangerous level? What treatment is suggested?  He is a diabetic type 2 patient,a hypertension patient since 15 years and a cholesterol patient as well.Doctor didn't prescribe him any medicine regarding Diabetes and asked him to control it through diet and exercise.Some medicines he's been taking for several years are Amlodipine Besylate, Hydrochlorothiazide/Lisinopril ( in combination) and Atenolol,Lipiget(Atorvastatin),Citanew(Escitalopram),Ascard (Aspirin),Fenoget (Fenofibrate),Neurobion ( Vit B1,B6,B12).Other than this he's been taking Centrum (supplements) as well.

My father age 58 got Acute prostatitis and his urine flow has stopped. He is currently on antibiotics and catheter. His fever and chills has reduced. PSA is 18.9. After antibiotic course get over will he be able to urinate without a catheter?

Does laser surgery for prostatitis infection and enlarged prostate increase chance of prostate cancer..? Age 58 male

My father age 58 got actue prostatitis and prostate size 80cc. Psa 18.9..Urine has stopped. Currently on antibiotics and catheter. Will he be able to pass urine once infection is cleared

I visited washroom frequently for urination 40 min to 1hour gap and sometimes 30min gap. Iam drinking lots of water 4-5 liter of water throughout the day.i also having whey protein shake. Throughout the day i visited multiple times at the washroom 15 times a day. Is it normal or something else..if this is a problem please suggest me some medicines. No pain no burning sensation during urination.

Hi Doc, my bladder in not completely getting empty, so I hav the urge to urinate frequently.......n secondly urine leaks when i sneeze without my knowledge.....plz help...
