Kidney Problems

Hi... My name is Jeff and for unfortunate reasons I use a straight cath (due to previous abdominal surgeries and pee shyness in public). I was diagnosed with a UTI about a month ago and was treated with Levaquin.. It went away and I felt fine until this weekend. On Saturday I took MDMA and on Sunday I was having a fever and the feeling of the infection.. Sure enough the infection resurfaced.. I know full well that catheterizing will increase my odds of having a UTI, and i'm working on eliminating usage.. However, was the use of the Molly (MDMA) drug a contributing factor for the reoccurring UTI?

After I eat I get this pain always. Pain stays for several hours . I cannot lay on back and feel if it is serious problem

I am 40 years old.female .due to few day before i feel pains in my joints. so i go for test and where in my test report i got BUN creat ratio 24 rather than their limit ..i m worried about it. so can you tel me ..whats going on ...is that serious problem history of my health: i have a one child and after that i got stone in my gall balder for that my gallbladder removed . and after that i got itching problem and then i take medicine for that..and then heavy mensturation bleeding medicine..

I went to an Urgent Care Monday evening because I was having painful urination and urgency when I had to go. I did a urinalysis and she said there was bacteria in my urine. She gave me Macrobid for 5 days. I am on day 3 and the last two days I have had terrible side and back pain. I do not have a fever and I do not have the burning or urgency symptoms any more.... I called them, but they told me to finish my meds and wait for the culture to come back. Is this normal for a regular UTI?

I AM NOT ABLE TO URINATE FULLY ESPECIALLY WHENTHE BLADDER IS FULL. IT IS TAKING A LONG TIME TO EMPTY THE BLADDER FULLY

70 yr male,done lap cholecystectomy 3days before after removel of catheter hving retention 2times removed urine by feeding tube lateron after retention they put foleysfor 10 days previous usg done on 11th march showing prostate vol85cc on 13th march98cc& on 14th april125cc now what would be the furher management?

I have back pain from past 1week so I suspected it as kidney stones because I faced same problem in 2014. I like to confirm this so visited vijaya diagnosis center they confirmed stone on kidney with bellow details Current condition: Right kidney - a calculus measuring 4mm is seen in upper pole of right kidney e/o simple cortical cyst noted in mid pole of kidney measuring 1.53×1.76cm Left kidney- a calculus measuring 5mm is seen in the mid pole of right kidney My question: Can i recover with only medicine or i have to go under operation? Please post your valuable answers

Father in law was having painful urination for past few days. Today the ultrasound scan revealed, abnormal prostate growth. [Benign prostatic hypertrophy with median lobe hypertrophy leading bladder outlet obstruction with bilateral hydronephrosis. Prostate size is 42 x 39x 43 mm, volume 38 ml. My queries are? Is surgery the only option for this? How long can we wait? He has to travel to Bangalore from Pune on Saturday, is it OK if he undergoes the surgery on Monday/ Tuesday?
