Kidney Problems

My father has been suffering with fever every night from 7 days and he went to a hospital for check up yesterday it was found that there is a virus in the kidney and it will be spreading to the lungs also and now he is worrying that it may be a kidney cancer and it will spread to the lungs through blood and it may cause problem.I have his latest reports also can u give any solution to this problem.
