Kidney Problems

I am 80yr old male facing urinary problems. I have to go to bathroom more frequently than I wish to...I can’t control the flow or hold urine for longer time. I heard having baking soda early in the morning with glass of warm water can control this problem and I will have to go to bathroom less infrequently. Is this possible?

Doctor prescribed me nitrofurantion for UTI.Since late night I got dycentry because of outside food.

I am having problems with urination. I'm 18 and for a couple years its been harder to pee. Especially at night it takes about 10 sec. To start the stream.
