Hello sir my father is complaining about a sever pain in his left side just above his waist for the past few days. But from yesterday the rector of pain is so much that he could able to side, lean or sleep properly. Please help me to guide in which medical department this problem is related to.

Can the progress of Chronic Kidney disease with hypertension be stopped completely by using antihypertensive medicines and other medications with life style changes?

I've been taking nitrofurantoin for a UTI for about a week now. I'm currently writing exams in university so my mood is quite low. But I get bad depressed feelings, terrible headaches, general malaise and feel really fatigued all the time. Could my medication or the infection be causing this? The infection hasn't cleared up as I still have burning and urgency symptoms. I can only see my doctor on Friday. Any help is greatly appreciated
