I been ganing weight since I came from Cuba to the United States, I have hypothyroidism, I take my pills my most of the time. But the weight gain is evident, I don't eat healthy, eat at night, don't do exercise, so my question is could the different diet can affect my weight (I've been a year in USA) even if I do the same routine in eating and no exercise as I was doing in Cuba, the food I eat here is Walmart quality... My daughter having thyroid she is uncomfortable and having rashes on body and itching please suggest she is only 8 years recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism and anemia she have pain in left eye also not able to understand she is too cranky at times.

I have fasting sugar of 204 and PP sugar of 357. Vitamin B12 deficiency and severe D3 deficiency. Would a diabetologist help or endocrinologist is a better option. Also, need expert advise in maintaining sugar levels within acceptable range. I have Diabetes for around 10 years now. Sugar levels are in limits when medicines are changed for just 2 to 3 months and after that it increases again.

I have done my thyroid profile test.Report shows T3-1.65ng/ml,T4-13.4ug/dl,TSH-1.51uIU/ml. Now a days I am suffering with my voice that is changing frequently.This month my period date is over, 3 days late till the date.What should I do?

Respected sir...my mom is having sugar from last 20 yrs but now she is having sugar in the range of 200 to 280.as she is following every precaution like exercise ..proper diet..what should we do sir????she lives alone so we r avoiding to go for insulin..her medicine is stagloplitin 1000mg.plus pioglar25mg.gp4 and volibo1.2

I am a female of 54 years age. Diagnosed as prediabetic last year and prescribed glycomet 850 XR once daily. My latest hba1c is 5.8. Most of the times blood glucose readings are in normal range. However sometimes morning fasting sugar is above 108 and even 2 hours post dinner reading are sometimes above 140mg/dl. Do I need to change medicine dose? My height is 5ft 2 inch and weight is 63 kg. Walk about 5-6 km daily and eat healthy food recommended for a diabetic.
