Relationship between B12 Iron Deficiency
I have report of three labs, and in all reports few lines mentioned below which says that deficiency of iron and B12 associated with higher HBA1C. So my question is i have already deficiency of B12
Healthian - Any condition that shortens erythrocyte survival or decrease mean erythrocyte age (e. g., recovery from acute blood loss, hemolytic anemia, HbSS, HbCC, and HbSC) will falsely lower HbA1c test results regardless of the assay method used. Iron deficiency anemia is associated with higher HbA1c.
Dr. Lal path- Inappropriately higher values of HbA1c may be caused due to iron deficiency, vitamin B12 deficiency, alcohol intake, uremia, hyperbilirubinemia and large doses of aspirin.

HbA1C range
Is a HbA1C of 5.8% concerning? Fasting and PP glucose, fasting insulin and TSH levels are well within normal range. Person is overweight (85 kgs) with a recent history of PCOD (over last 3 years). PCOD has been treated and menstruation is now regularized. Investigations were suggested due to fungal infection / rash on the neck. No medication currently (other than to treat the rash).
