Hi , We checked sugar levels for my husband in night showing 320 having type 2 diabetes ..please suggest some home remedies to reduce it .or some tablet to take for only 1 month to make it as normal

My mom diagnosed with type 2 diabetes 7 years back. She's taking metformin twice a day. Her blood sugar levels FP 136, Post meal 156. Recently urine, creatinine test are done because of UTI. Two months back creatine 0.8, this month 0.9. Any  precautions to take for healthy life. No blood pressure.

I'm 48 yrs old male with H/o Type 2DM for last 4 yrs. On Medication (1) Tab. Glyciphage SR 1 gm, BD (2) Tab. Zincovit, OD. Since last 1 month I'm having Angioedema on and off (mild to moderate). Swelling of lips, below eyes, genitals and hives & rashes over trunks and extremities. Frequency of angioedema: Twice a week. Relieved with Tab. Okacet L 10mg (Levecetrizine), SOS. HbA1c : 6.2 FBS : 105 mg/dl Serum Creatinine: 0.8 mg/dl Fundoscopy: Normal LFT : WNL No other diseases and sign & symptoms. 4 yrs back at the time of diagnosis started with Tab. Glyciphage SR 500 mg OD and now taking 1gm BD. Question: Doctor, Can you please suggest me an alternative medicine to Tab. Glyciphage SR 1 gm?

3 months ago I was diagnosed with diabetics with 240 (random value).  I was advised by my doctor to take glucomet 1000 before breakfast and dinner. My reading now are 140 ( before breakfast) and 180( 2 hours after taking meal). Is it OK? Please advice me for its better management. I do my walking and yoga regularly.

My HBA1C value is 6.6% with fasting glucose level 107. I have ate sweets a lot last 3-5 months. I am obese, but never thought of being diabetic. My physician said we will check once again after 3 months as my fasting glucose level is pre-diabetic. Is there anything I need to worry about?

I have been suffering from knee pain since 3 months.I am diabetec and my sugar has been raised a bit.I took medicine twice to control the sugar level.Initially i was told by doctor the pain is due to the increased sugar level.But after taking medicines also My knee pain is not going away.Its difficult more when i walk on the staircase.Even its painful on my foot.Please suggest me how to get away from this.

Hi Dr.. Can I give postprandial blood sugar test after meal with my regular antidiabetic tablets / or can I give after meal without taking any medication... plz let me know Tq

My baby is 8months and started solids . I am breastfeeding also. My blood sugar got very increased and doctor gave me Glycomet GP1 forte along with insulin. Will this medicine affect my baby? Should I need to stop breastfeeding?

Hii doctor..my mother is 56 years old and diabetic. She has two medicines, Triglimprex-2 and Teneligliptine-20mg. can she take these medicines together?
