Hormonal Imbalances

My mother suffers from hypothyroidism and takes medicines -thyronorm 100 mcg and calcium. Recently she has developed lumps of flesh around back of knee and thigh regions. Also her knee joints pain. What's the cause of it. Whom to consult.

I have hirsutism, I am using medicine for that,shall I take spearmint tea for this problem, is there any problem using this tea,peppermint and spearmint both are same or not,can you suggest any spearmint tea for me,iam single,is there any side effects using this.

I have high blood pressure and cholesterol and deficiency of vitamin d .sugar and thyroid is normal.

She has been taking Thyronorm 37.5 mcg (brand: Abbott) daily dosage according to the prescription by specialist doctor (Diabetes & Endocrinology) ; now she came to US and one of my friend brought from India Thyrox (brand: Macleods). Both brands are different even though the ingredients are exactly same; Now the question is whether she can take Thyrox Tablets instead of her regular Thyronorm ? Many Thanks in advance.

Asked for Female, 27 Years I had tsh level of 11.85 and was given 25mcg of thyronorm.after 10 days I was tested for anti tpo antibodies(which was negative), Dexamethasone supression test for serum cortisol with 1mg dexona(negative result and no cushings) and tsh.now the tsh level is 1.14.does Dexamethasone lower tsh value,when should I test my tsh again to continue thyronorm as my doctor asked me to stop it seeing these value.does 10 days of treatment with thyronorm decrease the so drastically?I'm hypothyroid or was that a transient tsh rise due to stress or viral infection? views-icons 10 Views

My TSH is very high and myft3 and ft4 is in range My endocrine has put me on thyrox 100mcg Is it hashimoto?? And do you really gain weight with autoimmune hypothyroid ?
