Autoimmune hypothyroid
Hi I am 23year old female , I recently accidentally got diagnosed with autoimmune hypothyroid during my regular health check up , My anti bodies is very high with 3 digit But I haven't not any symptoms associated with hypothyroid. My TSH is very high and myft3 and ft4 is in range My endocrine has put me on thyrox 100mcg Is it hashimoto?? And do you really gain weight with autoimmune hypothyroid ?

Yes most commonly it is hashimoto's. TSH takes around 6 weeks to reflect change after starting levothyroxine. Repeat TSH after 6 weeks to titre exact thyrox dose. Hypothyroidism can cause max weight rain of 2-4 kgs. But diet exercise and levothyroxine treatment can control it easily.
