Diabetes patient. Sugar level 33.
Hi,
My father is a Diabetic and has recently had a finger in his foot amputated. Dressing of the foot is done everyday.
Yesterday his sugar suddenly dropped to 33. I have him chocolate, glucon D and candies but it did not go past 65 yesterday night. He woke up again at 35, then I gave him some glocon D and chocolate and it was up to 70. We obviously discontinued the sugar medicine.
Ever since, his sugar is fluctuating between 40-90. He is not eating anything. I just give him chocolate and glucon D when his sugar goes down.
How can I bring his sugar back to normal? He is not eating anything. He is on the following medication :
Glimisave M1 Forte (not giving at the moment)
Complamina Retard
Chymoral Forte
Augmintin 625
Kindly help.
