Today I did the lipid profile test and found that my total cholesterol value is 207mg/dl and LDL cholesterol is 142.68mg/dl which shows the reference range borderline high . Rest all the things seems in normal range . Please let me know what precaution I need to take so that it will not rise more and how to reduce this to normal level.

Hi I am asking for a family member, this man is very obese and lost one kidney to cancer 2 years ago, he now has muscle pain where the doctors had to cut him open and is on a lot of pain medication. He has been told his remaining kidney is functioning at 38 percent and now his heart isn't pumping properly at 35 percent. I have read on journal papers that he may have anywhere from1-5 years left is this true if he doesn't change his diet? and he has hypertension
