I have rectal prolapse and doctor advised me to undergo laproscopic surgery. Is it important to bring someone along me during surgery. I dont have my mom and dad. And my relatives are also not supportive. What can i do? Will doctor permit me to undergo surgery?

I had a laser lateral internal Sphinctormy and hemriodoplasty on 3 week before now I have moderate pain is that normal or abnormal? How long it take to heal totally and I can go without pain? Even i can't sit after bowl movement it causing pain is that any Sphinctormy damage?

Hi, I'm posting this for my mother who is suffering from swelling in her feet from past 2 months. It increases as she stands and does household chores. On getting blood and urine tests done, there is increased inflammation in her body, more protein in her urine. The Ultra sound of abdomen and pelvic region and X-ray of her foot are normal. She has been taking pain killers and anti-inflammatory suggested by doctors from past one month, but we've not moved even an inch towards betterment. The situation is getting worse as her fingers have also started to swell and pain the same way as feet. Please suggest if you have any insights. Thanks in advance. -Surbhi Tayal

I had laser lateral internal Sphinctormy  and later hemriodoplasty  before 15days I have little burning sensation and pain while passing motion is it normal? Is Recurrence possible after 15 days of surgery ?

Two and half years back I have observed milde irritation at anus after going motion, I went for doctor he prescribed some ointment, from that this irritaion appear occasionally I visited regularly for this to doctor, however after one year perianal absess was formed doctor open this and clear the infection but no communication at internal and he was only removed the abscess later after again a small bubble formed at surgery area again he prescribed some antibiotics and done i&d again after 15 days a small bubble was formed, I went for another doctor he said there was communication to anus externally and preferred MRi. Please find attached report and provide suggestions. If again surgery to be done he said some manual surgery and remaining laser is this technique ok. How many days after surgery can I take my routine work. Is this any complex surgery.
