I have been prescribed prednisolone 40 mg OD for ulcerative colitis. I HAVE PR BLEED. today is day 5 of taking steroids along with mesacol and entofoam enema. Took mesacol since 20 th November. Bleeding has not stopped. No other symptoms. I pass stools once daily. How long will steroids take to work? Please advise.

As she s suffering from acidity problem so getting migraine from that and heavy pickaps not able to any food.. Stomach bloating chest burning... Please do suggest

My sgpt(alt) is 57u/l .HDL is 45 normal range is >65. Normal range is upto 41u/l . Usg,kft,lipid profile and other enzymes in lft are normal.is there any issue .kindly help.

I was facing problem like sticky and tight stool i was taking cremaffin plus and stool was passing properly but still sticky so my doctor gave me providac od 1 time a day i am taking it from yesterday afternoon but to day i couldn't stool properly i was heaving diarrhoea type stool so my question is does providac tights the stool or you can guide me with other stuffs aswell

My friend is a slim lean guy with 5'10" height and no medical issues so far. He have a habit of consuming large quantity of alcohol with friends for days at a stretch. For a week he and his friends consume alcohol without seeing the daylight. He left alcohol consumption for a month or two and now he's drinking again. I want to run a few tests on him to know whether any part of his body have been badly affected by this alcohol consumption. What are the tests that need to be done in order to detect alcoholism and it's effect? Is CDT and Fibroscan worth taking?

Everyday I feel heavy in right abdomen,also I feel my right leg heavy and pain in right leg joint. I have to bend towards left to get gas out through burps.feel like right is packed with gas I have been taking nexpro for more than a month but no use. Please help me. It's affecting my right stomach right leg and I feel right hand also. I did blood tests, except d and b12 , everything is fine including liver,kidney etc. Spine mri is also fine along with brain Please help me
