I am not able to make decision whether go Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy Surgery or not ? One year back done ultrasound and had 4 to 5 gallstones biggest was 8mm , later I started alternative medicine Ayurvedic and homeopathic though git some relief in bloating, gas but after 9 months my stones size increased 13mm biggest one rest are varying size 9mm,8mm there is more than 10 stones now . 2 weeks back had pain and back ache now I am better . Was thinking of Cholecystectomy but will it cause more problems in future? Like pains ,digestive issues, gas ,acidity, or other problems loose motions etc.pls guide me what to consulted surgeon he asked me to do surgery but homeopathic doctor said try medicine for one more year but already I tried 9 months without much success, any other options available?

My mother is 53 years female. Her uterus has been removed before 10 years. Recent general health check up revealed she has cholesterol and gall bladder stones. Our Gastroenterologist suggested for a laparoscopy, since he mentioned if this is left unattended it may lead to jaundice. So wanted to know if laparoscopy is the right way to proceed.

My wife have 1 cm stone in CBD. I am from khatima Uttarakhand working in Mysore. Here in Mysore 2 years she had gone through laproscopy surgery of gallbladder removed. Just after 2 year we found a stone in CBD. She is now in khatima, she about to come on 19 nov here in Mysore. Where ercp will happen. So my question is it ok to wait 10 days or we should do ercp at urgent basis. Because she is feeling little bit fatigue. Please reply...is there any complications after 10 days.

During LFT the following findings were out Bilirubin (total)-1.4 Bilirubin (Direct) -0.3 Bilirubin (Indirect) - 1.1 SGPT- 99 SGOT-59 Albumin- 4.4 Globulin-2.9 A/G ratio- 1.5 Total Protien- 7.3 Alk. Phosphatase- 78 Currently taking udiliv 300 for one month with veg diet by family doctor. Any suggestion. I used to be frequent drinker.

2months back i diagnosed with erosive gastritis and thyroid.. i completed 6week course for gastritis problem .. currently I have only one problem i.e my appetite changes frequently like loss of appetite some day.. it's been 1week i started my thyroid treatment.. i am confused why I always get loss of appetite. Else my all blood tests are normal

My father 62 years old is having too much acidity and indigestion. No antacid is working to reduce his stomach acid. He does not have any stomach pain or stool problem. He has high blood sugar ff 195 and pp 350. He eats less oily food. When he eats pepfiz, it reduces his acid. He is a smoker also. He has diabetic neuropathy. In 2020, he has been diagnosed with antral gastritis. But then he has recovered. But again from one or two months he is facing this problem.

I had my gallbladder operation on 21st October,2022. Its almost 3 weeks now. But from last week, every morning around 4 5 o'clock, I am experiencing a chest pain accompanied with middle stomach pain. Chest pain feels like a heartburn. It will go away when I take 2 3 glass of water. Also, in one of the surgery are, under skin, I can feel a hard lump. Why this is happening? Is the stomach pain and chest pain indicates something serious?
