Hi, I had an emergency c section on 10th, after which I had shivering followed by fever for which blood test showed infection and second night I had the same. After which blood and urine culture was done found that I had an infectious bacteria called e coli. I was on meropenun iv every 6 hours including paracetamol. My symptoms never changed but was told they can't continue the drug more than 7 days as it may show adverse reactions. I am in the hospital still and all the doctors are clueless what to be done. It's been more than 48 hrs of antibiotics stopped currently just on paracetamol and symptoms have got worst. Pls advise what can I do. They have done quite a bit of testing and scan but no luck.

I recently had a drop in blood platelets to 14,000 went to a hospital got to ICU, stayed there for 3 days and they couldn't come up with any root cause for the platelets drop. They suspected dengue and viral fever but it turned out to be nothing. I would like a second opinion into this matter.

I've been suffering from headaches and dizziness from days. Lying down also doesn't help rather makes the things even worse. The pain comes and goes. It is feeling as if someone is hitting a hammer on my forehead. Is this a sign of high blood pressure or is it some other severe issue? I'm quite worried about this as I'm not able to concentrate on my work and has been feeling low because of this.
