What is the treatment for low platelet count

Asked for Female, 32 Years

Due to a low platelet count, my sister faces troubles with her immune system and often gets sick easily. At the time of any bodily injury, she also takes longer time to heal. Along with medications, we are focusing on natural means to boost the platelet count as well. Does anyone know what are the treatments for low platelet count?
