Hello general physician has prescribed me azithromycin 500 for throat infection and swollen tonsils. The doctor told me to take the medicine half an hour before food.is it ok to take the medicine before having food. Please reply??

I have feeling of fever from mostly one month..but on thermometer showing normal reading..in range of 96 to 98.8...after 10 days I done test cbc widal mp ...widal came positive titre is o 1.320 h1.160 ah 1.80 bh 1.80.weakness is also der..i have completed typhoid course antibiotic Zifi o plus Azithromycin 500mg ..for 14 days ..but feverish feeling not gone Fully.. temperature range 96 to 98.8..do I need any other test or medicine.. what's the problem..pls help me
