My father is having fever from yesterday. Yesterday it was 99.4 with body pain. Today morning he was feeling body pain and fever but when I checked, temperature was normal. 1 hour back, I again checked temperature it was 100.00 Please suggest a good medicine for fever and body pain.

My mother is having fever since last 3 days, fluctuating between 99°-102°. She has lost sense of smell and taste. She has history of severe acidity due to which she isn't able to intake food without feeling like vomiting. Consulted a doctor who prescribed Somapraz D 40, Lorfast-AM, Cepodem XP 325 and Pacimol Active. These didn't help her to recover after which the doc has asked us to get CBC, ESR, LOU, LFT tests to be done. Please advise what should be done and is this the right diagnosis?
